Microsoft have commited to fixing up OneDrive Sync and lifting this platform to the level it deserves. Check out the video from Microsoft Ignite announcing many great improvements rolling out between now and the end of the year, including:
- Next-gen, unified client
- Selective sync
- Lifting restrictions on file numbers
- Auditing, Reporting and Compliance
- Enterprise management
- Extended and enhance device support
With this commitment from Microsoft, many of the concerns raised in my earlier OneDrive for Business posts are effectively addressed, and the service promises to enhance and extend the business capability of Office 365.
